SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 128
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas takes pleasure
in recognizing February 12, 2003, as Texas Educational
Diagnosticians' Association Day at the State Capitol; and
WHEREAS, Educational diagnosticians play a pivotal
role in the lives of Texas schoolchildren; they assess and
diagnose educational problems of students and provide teachers
and parents with viable solutions to remediate learning
disabilities; and
WHEREAS, The Texas Educational Diagnosticians'
Association, founded in 1973, promotes professionalism,
competence, excellence, and continuing education within the
organization to provide quality educational services that
benefit students, parents, and teachers across the state; and
WHEREAS, The dedicated individuals who become educational
diagnosticians accept a great responsibility, and they and
their association deserve recognition for their hard work and
accomplishments; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
78th Legislature, hereby commend the members of the Texas
Educational Diagnosticians' Association for their outstanding
work on behalf of the students of Texas and their parents and
teachers; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
the association as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
