SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 185

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to 
recognize the Texas Rollers RV Club on the occasion of its 25th 
anniversary; and

	WHEREAS, On May 28, 1978, a group of recreational vehicle 
owners dedicated to the spirit of friendship, sportsmanship, and 
pride gathered at Birch Creek Park on Lake Somerville; and

	WHEREAS, They organized the Texas Rollers RV Club, and for 
25 years, its members have traveled the highways of Texas and the 
United States together; and

	WHEREAS, Over the years, in addition to enjoying one 
another's companionship, club members have sponsored many civic, 
social, and religious activities for the benefit of their 
fellowman and their communities; and

	WHEREAS, In celebration of their 25th anniversary, club 
members are sponsoring a special weekend of activities in May of 
this year at the Havens Landing RV Resort in Montgomery, Texas; 
now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
78th Legislature, hereby congratulate the Texas Rollers RV Club 
on their 25th anniversary and extend best wishes to them for the 
future; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
them as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
