SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 409

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is proud to 
congratulate Miss Riley McMath on the occasion of her tenth 
birthday; and

	WHEREAS, Miss McMath is a native of Texas, having entered 
this world and state ten years ago today in Houston, Texas; and

	WHEREAS, Miss McMath now lives in Shaker Heights, Ohio, 
with her parents, Geoff and Celia, she continues to proudly 
represent Texas so far from home; and

	WHEREAS, Miss McMath has achieved much in her ten short 
years, distinguishing herself not only in the classroom, but also 
on the tennis court, the golf links and the horse riding course; 
and

	WHEREAS, Miss McMath promises to continue dedicating 
herself to making her fellow Texans proud; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
78th Legislature, hereby congratulate Miss Riley McMath on
the occasion of her tenth birthday and extend best wishes to
her for her next ten years and beyond; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
