SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 451
In Memory
of
Enriqueta Enrico
WHEREAS, The Texas Senate joins the citizens of San Antonio in mourning the loss of Enriqueta "Ketta" Enrico, who died March 9, 2003, at the age of 79; and WHEREAS, Ketta was devoted to her family and adored her grandchildren, and she spent her happiest moments with them; she taught them to understand that it was the simple things in life that mattered; and WHEREAS, A devout Christian, Ketta worked tirelessly all her life for the Catholic churches she attended; Saint John Berchman's was the place she knew as home and where she sent her children to school and ran the Arts and Crafts Club; she carried on her good works at Saint Dominic's, where she served as a communion minister; and WHEREAS, Ketta was a generous, kind, and compassionate person who gave unselfishly of her time to others, and her wisdom, warmth, and valued counsel will not be forgotten by those who knew her; and WHEREAS, A loyal wife, mother, and grandmother, she leaves behind memories that will be treasured forever by her family and many friends; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 78th Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the bereaved family of Enriqueta Enrico: her children, Carmen Cecilia Minerva and her husband, Michael, Carlos Enrico and his wife, Carmen, Leoncio "Rick" Enrico III, Rose Enrico Lowe and her husband, Jeff, Margaret Sue Bumgardner and her husband, George; her adopted children, Sue Waylett and Dave Badagnani; and her grandchildren, Christopher Michael Enrico, Andrew Ryan Enrico, Adam Leon Bumgardner, Maggie Sherrod Bumgardner, and Annie Noel Lowe; and, be it further RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for her family as an expression of deepest sympathy from the Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this day, it do so in memory of Enriqueta Enrico.
