SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 462
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize the students and faculty from the University of Hanover in Germany who visited the State Capitol on February 13, 2003; and WHEREAS, The students who visited the capitol were Julianne Bielinski, Nina Vanessa Bornemann, Vladislav Boskovic, Halina Gebert, Anne Geisler, Christine Goronczy, Martin Heine, Tanja Hillebrandt, Svenja Nork, and Katharina Wendy Stuff; they were accompanied by Jill Schneller, their faculty advisor; and WHEREAS, As visiting students and faculty at Southwest Texas State University, the delegation from the University of Hanover are hopefully enjoying some of the high quality educational opportunities available in Texas; and WHEREAS, The State of Texas is honored to have these scholarly students and professors from Germany studying at Southwest Texas State University, and the Senate is pleased that they took the time to visit the Capitol and learn about our state government; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 78th Legislature, hereby express appreciation to the University of Hanover delegation for their interest in the State of Texas and extend best wishes to them for much success with their studies at Southwest Texas State University; and, be it further RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for them as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
