SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 567
In Memory
of
Gustin M. Hrncir
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas joins the
citizens of San Antonio in mourning the loss of Gustin M. Hrncir,
who died March 30, 2003, at the age of 73; and
WHEREAS, Gustin was dedicated to his work as the owner and
operator of Turner's Pharmacist for 28 years, and he was a former
president of the Bexar County Pharmaceutical Association; and
WHEREAS, A man of integrity, strength, and generosity,
Gustin gave unselfishly of his time as a volunteer at Christus
Santa Rosa Hospital; and
WHEREAS, A devout Christian, Gustin was a member of Saint
John the Evangelist Catholic Church, where he was a Eucharistic
minister; he also served his faith as a Grand Knight in the
Knights of Columbus Council 8302; and
WHEREAS, Gustin was a devoted husband, father, and
grandfather, and he leaves behind memories that will be treasured
forever by his family and many friends; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
78th Legislature, hereby extend sincere condolences to the
bereaved family of Gustin M. Hrncir: his wife, Kathleen Malone Hrncir;
his sons and daughters-in-law, Tim and Sharon Hrncir and
Michael and Evelyn Hrncir; his daughters and son-in-law,
Catherine Hrncir and Suzanne and Eldridge Coleman; his sister
and brother-in-law, Janice and Larry Bower; his brother and
sister-in-law, Paul and Amlyn Hrncir; his sister-in-law,
Dolores Hrncir; and his grandsons, Sam and Matt Coleman and
Alex and Gray Hrncir; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
the members of his family as an expression of deepest sympathy
from the Texas Senate, and that when the Senate adjourns this
day, it do so in memory of Gustin M. Hrncir.
