SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 642
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize James Allen on the grand occasion of his 40th birthday; and WHEREAS, James Allen was born March 27, 1963; he is married to Christine "Tina" and has been blessed with two children, Makayla and Faith; and WHEREAS, James is well known in the San Antonio community as a highly successful entrepreneur; he has started and operated several successful development and construction businesses, including Castlerock Development, Castlerock Partners, J. Allen Family Partners, and J. Allen Investments; and WHEREAS, He first entered the business world when he was a student at Texas A&M University, and his fellow students were his first business investors in a company he founded; while in college, he also developed his leadership skills by serving as president of his junior and senior classes; and WHEREAS, An innovative and resourceful individual, James has found success by taking advantage of business opportunities and by working in a variety of partnerships and positions to support himself while developing his companies into substantial enterprises; he formerly concentrated on mini-storage ventures, and his business efforts are now focused on manufactured home communities; and WHEREAS, An exemplary member of his community, James is respected by many for his integrity and for his exceptional talents and many accomplishments; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 78th Legislature, hereby commend James Allen on his many achievements and extend best wishes to him on the joyful occasion of his 40th birthday; and, be it further RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for him as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
