SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 643

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to 
recognize Concordia Lutheran School in San Antonio on the 
occasion of its 50th anniversary celebration, which takes place 
April 4 through 6, 2003; and

	WHEREAS, For 50 years, Concordia Lutheran School has 
provided high-quality educational opportunities for innumerable 
students and has ministered faithfully to their spiritual needs; 
and

	WHEREAS, Currently serving over 400 students, Concordia 
Lutheran School has been a positive educational presence in the 
community and has undertaken many projects that have benefited 
the residents of San Antonio; and

	WHEREAS, A national Blue Ribbon school of excellence, 
Concordia Lutheran School offers a Christ-centered educational 
program and has established a strong and courageous legacy of 
service to pass on to future generations; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
78th Legislature, hereby commend Concordia Lutheran School for 
the superior educational opportunities it offers the young 
people of our state and extend best wishes to all associated with 
the school for a joyful and memorable 50th anniversary 
celebration; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
the alumni, students, faculty, and administration of the school 
as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
