SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 663
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to recognize Dr. Danny Watts for his 25 years of outstanding service to the children of Austin and this state; and WHEREAS, Dr. Watts is a pediatric dentist who has practiced in Austin for 20 years, after practicing in Midland and Odessa; he was trained at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas and is qualified to treat all children, including those with serious medical challenges and with physical and mental disabilities; and WHEREAS, He is a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and a member of the Texas Dental Association, and he serves on the Peer Review Committee of the Capital Area Dental Society; and WHEREAS, In addition to his private practice, Dr. Watts serves on the Medical Executive Committee at Bailey Square Surgical Center and as an advisor for the North Austin Medical Center and Children's Hospital at Brackenridge; and WHEREAS, Dr. Watts is a source of strength to others, and his accomplishments reflect his dedication to excellence in his profession and to the children of this state and his community; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 78th Legislature, hereby express appreciation to Dr. Danny Watts for his invaluable contributions to the children of our state and extend best wishes to him for the future; and, be it further RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for Dr. Watts as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
