SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 764
WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to
recognize Lindsay Trammell for earning the Girl Scout Gold Award;
this fine young woman was presented the coveted award by the
Tejas Girl Scout Council; and
WHEREAS, Few receive this distinguished award, the highest
level of achievement in the Girl Scout program; and
WHEREAS, Through the process of earning the Gold Award,
girls develop a lifelong commitment to community service and gain
skills that will contribute to their future success; and
WHEREAS, Lindsay has displayed leadership through
designing and conducting a service project that will have a
positive and lasting effect on her community; and
WHEREAS, In receiving the Gold Award, Lindsay has brought
great honor to herself, her family, her council, her community,
and her state, and she is truly worthy of legislative
recognition; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
78th Legislature, hereby commend Lindsay Trammell on receiving
this prestigious award and congratulate her on her outstanding
achievement; and, be it further
RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for
her as an expression of esteem from the Texas Senate.
