SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 876

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to 
recognize Bob Miller on the grand occasion of his 50th birthday; 
and

	WHEREAS, Bob was born June 6, 1953, at Florence Nightingale 
Hospital in Dallas; he graduated from South Garland High School 
in 1971, and he received a bachelor's degree from Austin College 
in Sherman in 1976; and

	WHEREAS, As a young man, Bob was active in the Boy Scouts, 
and he earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 1969; and

	WHEREAS, A devout Christian, Bob is a member of the 
Presbyterian Church at Hackberry Creek; and

	WHEREAS, In celebration of Bob's birthday, family and 
friends are gathering for a surprise birthday party on June 7, 2003,
to congratulate him and to share with him this important 
milestone in his life; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
78th Legislature, hereby congratulate Bob Miller on the occasion 
of his 50th birthday and extend to him best wishes for the future; 
and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
him as a memento of this special day.
