SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 878

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to 
pay tribute to Mrs. Dorothy Hall on the grand occasion of her 
100th birthday on May 31, 2003; and

	WHEREAS, Dorothy Hall was born May 31, 1903; she is a 
revered resident of Fort Worth and a beloved and respected member
of her community; and

	WHEREAS, A gracious lady who is well known for her charm 
and generosity of spirit, Mrs. Hall is a source of strength to 
many; and

	WHEREAS, She is noted for her courage, her compassion for 
others, and her enthusiasm for living each day to the fullest; 
now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas, 
78th Legislature, hereby recognize Mrs. Dorothy Hall as a 
treasured citizen of Fort Worth and the State of Texas and extend
best wishes to her on her 100th birthday; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
her as a memento of this special day.
