SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 924

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to 
recognize Deborah Michelle Batts of West Columbia on the special 
occasion of her home school graduation on June 7, 2003; and

	WHEREAS, Deborah has completed her graduation requirements 
at home and has thus demonstrated her talent and her determination 
to achieve her goals; and

	WHEREAS, This fine young woman has shown an exemplary 
commitment to her studies, and she can be rightfully proud of her 
accomplishment; and

	WHEREAS, Deborah has successfully faced the many 
challenges of a home school education, and she is now well 
prepared to embark on an adventure into a world that holds 
countless exciting opportunities for her; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
78th Legislature, hereby commend Deborah Michelle Batts for her 
exemplary accomplishments and extend congratulations to her on 
her graduation with best wishes for future success in all her 
endeavors; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
her as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
