SENATE RESOLUTION NO. 929

	WHEREAS, The Senate of the State of Texas is pleased to 
recognize James Gerad Caldwell of Lake Jackson on the special 
occasion of his home school graduation on June 7, 2003; and

	WHEREAS, Gerad completed his graduation requirements at 
home and has shown diligence and perseverance in working toward 
his goal; and

	WHEREAS, In addition to his home schooling, he worked part 
time and attended college by concurrent enrollment; and

	WHEREAS, Known for his honesty and his friendliness, Gerad 
is a devoted son and a dedicated employee; and

	WHEREAS, Gerad is a follower of Jesus Christ and a faithful 
member of his church; he recently helped with starting a new 
church, and he has been to El Salvador and Arkansas to share his 
Christian beliefs; now, therefore, be it

	RESOLVED, That the Senate of the State of Texas,
78th Legislature, hereby commend James Gerad Caldwell for his 
exemplary accomplishments and extend congratulations to him on 
his graduation with best wishes for future success in all his 
endeavors; and, be it further

	RESOLVED, That a copy of this Resolution be prepared for 
him as an expression of high regard from the Texas Senate.
