IN RE:
HB20 by Corte (Relating to the issuance of Desert Shield and Desert Storm license plates.), As Engrossed

The provisions of the bill amends Transportation Code to expand the eligibility for Desert Storm special license plates. The plates are currently available to Desert Shield or Desert Storm Veterans who were deployed to the Middle East, where they participated in Operation Desert Shield or Desert Storm. The provisions would allow persons who served in the Unites States armed forces after August 1, 1990 and before April 12, 1991 to apply for these plates.

No significant fiscal implication is anticipated due to the estimated number of license plate issuances.
