The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure by requiring before release on bail persons arrested for intoxication and alcoholic beverage offenses, the law enforcement agency holding the person to make a determination that the person is no longer intoxicated.It is assumed that this bill would not significantly affect the operations of state government.
