The bill creates a new chapter to Title 4 of the Business and Commerce Code, which will prohibit a sex offender from owning or serving in certain capacities on behalf of a sexually oriented business. Both injunctive relief and criminal penalties are provided for a violation of the Act. The Attorney General or the appropriate district or county attorney may bring a suit for injunction.
