No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The Office of the Attorney General indicates that any costs associated with the bill could be absorbed within the agency's existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.  Local government entities would incur minimal programming costs to obscure or eliminate the required digits from the debit or credt card account number on receipts and documents.
