No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. 

The bill would amend Election Code, Section 172.021 to require judicial candidates seeking a place on the general primary election ballot for an office on the Supreme Court or the Court of Criminal Appeals to meet petition requirements.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
