HB352 by Dutton (Relating to a legislative continuance of a contested case before a state agency.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code to provide for a legislative continuance for contested cases in administrative hearings before a state agency. 

The bill would take immediate effect if the bill receives the vote of two-thirds the members in each house.  Otherwise, the bill would take effect September 1, 2003.
