IN RE:	HB375 by Dutton (Relating to limiting the award of attorney's fees by a justice court.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Government Code, Chapter 27 to limit the amount of attorney's fees that may be awarded in cases before local justice of the peace courts.  The bill would take effect September 1, 2003.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
