The bill would amend the Transportation Code as it relates to citation and arrest for a Class C misdemeanor.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated. Local governmental entities may see minimal savings in costs due to fewer arrests for Class C misdemeanors.
