HB405 by Miller (Relating to resident tuition for military personnel and their dependents.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.


The bill would allow a child of a member of the Armed Forces of the United States to establish residency in Texas independent of the parent for purposes of paying resident tuition.  Current statute provides that the parent and child must establish residency together.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
