HB406 by Miller (Relating to proceeds received by a person accused or convicted of a crime from publicizing the crime.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. 

The bill would amend the forfeiture of contraband chapter of the Code of Criminal Procedure by adding telephone service, an electronic media format, including an Internet website, to the list of items listed as proceeds.  The Texas Department of Criminal Justice anticipates no fiscal impact from this bill.
