No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would authorize school districts to post bids on the Texas Marketplace website as an alternative to publishing bid notices in newspapers. The bill would require the Texas Building and Procurement Commission to permit school districts to post bids on the Texas Marketplace website.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
