HB467 by Berman (Relating to water and sewer service provided to residents of certain areas annexed by a municipality.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implications to local governments are anticipated.

There would be fiscal implications for water supply corporations and cities under these provisions in that the city may have to compensate the water supply corporation for the temporary loss of property, but the city would gain customers and revenue, as determined by an independent appraiser.  The water supply corporation would lose customers and property but would be compensated for the loss as determined by an appraiser.
