No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would add a new section to Chapter 11 of the Tax Code to make property tax exemptions filed with the chief appraiser confidential from public inspection, under certain circumstances.

 

The bill would allow exemption application information to be disclosed under limited conditions.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
