No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would add Chapter 46 to the Business & Commerce Code to prohibit certain commercial electronic messages that use another person's Internet domain name, misrepresent any information in identifying the point of origin or the transmission path of the message, contain false or misleading information in the subject line, and unsolicited electronic mail messages requiring identification as an advertisement or adult advertisement and require the name, address, toll-free number or valid electronic address of the initiator.
