No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill amends the Labor Code relating to the pursuit of a private claim against a workers' compensation claimant by a health care provider. It is assumed the Workers' Compensation Commission could implement the provisions of the bill within current resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
