IN RE:
HB613 by Castro (Relating to requiring institutions of higher education to use uniform grading methods for each class or section of the same course.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require institutions of higher education to ensure that a uniform grading policy is used to determine the final grade for a course.  The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board has indicated that all public higher education institutions in Texas use a 4.0 grading scale.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
