No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill adds Section 35.58 to the Business & Commerce Code relating to the expiration or reduction in value of a gift certificate.  The Act takes effect September 1, 2003.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
