IN RE:	HB679 by Talton (Relating to requiring the Texas Department of Criminal Justice to inform certain inmates of their right to request to undergo an orchiectomy.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill amends the Government Code to require the Department of Criminal Justice to inform all qualified inmates that they may undergo an orchiectomy.  The bill would not significantly affect the operations of state government. 

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
