No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would allow a private person who rendered aid at the request of a governmental unit or agency to be free from liability for damages arising from rendering the aid unless the act or omission was willfully or wantonly negligent or done with conscious indifference or reckless disregard for the safety of others.
