HB743 by Hochberg (Relating to paramilitary training organizations; providing criminal penalties.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Penal Code by creating the offense of paramilitary training to incite civil disorder.  The offense would be punishable as a state jail felony.  The bill would also amend the Government Code by making certain displays in public with firearms punishable as a Class C misdemeanor.  


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
