IN RE:	HB769 by Solis (Relating to compensatory time off for certain communications service employees of the Department of Public Safety.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to allow certain communications service employees employed by the Department of Public Safety to earn compensatory time off when they are required to work on a national or state holiday that falls on a Saturday or Sunday. The compensatory time would be earned on an hour for hour basis.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
