No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated. 

Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board (THECB) estimates the institutions will incur legal, notification, and processing costs to exercise eminent domain authority, which will be handled from current operating funds. THECB estimates there would be 10 incidents per year, and the total cost per incident would be minimal.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
