IN RE:
HB786 by Dunnam (Relating to the contents and appeal of certain orders in a suit affecting the parent-child relationship.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require that orders terminating the parent-child relationship contain a statement notifying the person whose parental rights are terminated of the right to appeal. The bill would also provide that orders terminating the parent-child relationship are final regardless of pending matters with respect to other parties and issues in the suit. The implementation of these provisions would result in no significant fiscal impact to the State.
