HB798 by Farabee (Relating to the issuance of disabled veteran license plates.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation code to lower the eligibility for disabled veteran license plates from a 60 percent service-connected disability to a 50 percent service-connected disability.

No significant fiscal implication is anticipated due to the estimated change in the number of license plate issuances.

The bill would take effect September 1, 2003.

 


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated due to the estimated change in the number of license plate issuances.
