No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Penal Code by providing exceptions to the prosecution of individuals for the offense of unlawful carrying weapons.  Providing exceptions to the prosecution of individuals for offenses would result in fewer prosecutions and would not result in additional fiscal implications to the State.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
