HB823 by Goodman (Relating to associate judges for certain family law matters.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend provisions of the Family Code and the Government Code which relate to judicial officers presiding over certain family law matters, the supervision of those judicial officers by the presiding judges of the nine administrative judicial regions, and the procedures in certain family law matters.

Local Government Impact

According to the Office of Court Administration, no fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
