No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation Code to require a peace officer to take a specimen of a person's breath or blood in connection with certain alcohol-related offenses if an individual other than the person has suffered bodily injury in the accident.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
