HB919 by Eiland (Relating to the review and approval of drainage reports by certain special districts.), As Engrossed

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Water Code to authorize certain special districts to require that a property developer who proposes to subdivide land located in the district submit for district approval a drainage report for the subdivision. The district would be required to review the report and notify the developer of the district's approval or disapproval of the report.

The bill would take effect immediately if it receives a two-thirds vote in each house; otherwise, it would take effect September 1, 2003.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
