IN RE:
HB1039 by Krusee (Relating to the adoption of a state scenic byways program.), Committee Report 1st House, Substituted

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Based on the analysis of the Department of Transportation (TxDOT), it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.  The bill would prohibit TxDOT from using money in the State Highway Fund to implement the provisions of the bill.

The bill would take September 1, 2003.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
