TO: | Honorable Kent Grusendorf, Chair, House Committee on Public Education |
FROM: | John Keel, Director, Legislative Budget Board |
IN RE: | HB1073 by Howard (Relating to parental notice of supplemental presentations at public schools.), As Introduced |
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
TEA reports that current practice in a large number of school districts would meet the requirements of this bill. To the extent that a school calendar or newsletter that is sent home with the student would meet the requirement of this bill, the vast majority of districts would not incur significant additional costs in meeting the bill’s requirements.
