IN RE: | HB1075 by McCall (Relating to criminal history record information for state agency information technology personnel.), As Introduced |
Prior to having access, the state agency would be required to adopt policies and procedures that provide that evidence of a criminal conviction or other relevant information obtained from the criminal history record would not automatically disqualify an individual from employment. The Attorney General would be required to review the policies and procedures implemented by each agency prior to access to the criminal history information. A fee to cover the cost of the policy review would be permitted.
