HB1090 by Miller (Relating to the authority of the Texas Department on Aging to establish a prescription drug information and assistance program.), As Engrossed

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Department on Aging to establish and operate a "Texas Cares" program to provide information about and assistance enrolling in prescription drug discount programs offered by pharmaceutical companies for the benefit of seniors. The department anticipates no significant fiscal impact due to the implementation of the bill.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
