No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The Texas Department of Insurance indicates the provisions of the bill would have no fiscal impact to the agency.  The bill would create a civil penalty under Chapter 2306 of the Occupations Code.  Civil penalties collected under this section would be sent to the comptroller for deposit in the general revenue fund.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
