IN RE: | HB1148 by Miller (Relating to authorizing a temporary wind up permit for a concentrated animal feeding operation the permit for which has been revoked.), As Introduced |
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would require the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to issue a temporary concentrated animal feeding operation wind up permit to a person whose permit has been revoked. The Commission reports that it has only revoked one concentrated animal feeding operation permit in the past five years.
