No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.


Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.  The bill would allow a person to record jury deliberations in civil or criminal proceedings at the discretion of the court.  The bill would take effect September 1, 2003, and would apply only to those trials commenced after the effective date.
