HB1220 by Haggerty (Relating to the establishment of an offense for failing to return to an employer items that may be used to impersonate a security officer.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Occupations Code by including the failure to surrender to an employer, after terminating employment, the items issued by the employer that could be used to impersonate a commissioned or noncommissioned security officer.  The offense is punishable as a Class A misdemeanor.  It is assumed that the bill would not significantly affect the operations of state or local government.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
